ASL-Spoken English InterpretingASL-Spoken English Interpreters facilitate communication between deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind ASL users and hearing users of spoken English. As English are ASL are different languages expressed in different modes, the interpreters are converting what is signed or spoken into the other language or mode. ASL-Spoken English interpreting is a relatively new though now well-established as a paid language service.
